@cheesewedge92@James_UTFT_ You’ll understand soon enough. Whether it’s this year or in 3 years, Trafford will obviously be the next no1, and then you’ll see why we get so annoyed.
It’ll be constant blame when his defence is shit, and ‘if Trafford is actually any good, why is he playing for Leeds’
Drop Pickford for England and this is what happens...
91 caps, played against France, Spain, Germany, Argentina, Netherlands, Italy, Belgium etc and never conceded more than 2 in a game... Unlike everyone else who tries to take his shirt
@datboiefc38@CharlieBarnicle He’s magic with the ball but end product is poor. You get away with that for us but for them they’ll grow tired of it. He’ll score a few goals purely because of the amount of chances he’ll get but he’ll miss many more.
Will miss him as a player but we won’t miss his output
@DannyObrie12936@Hayley_Everton Don’t disagree. Just keep seeing that phrase thrown around when that’s clearly not what’s happening, otherwise there’s another easy 150m of players that easily could’ve been shifted, and multiple purchases that wouldn’t have been sanctioned.
@Hayley_Everton@DannyObrie12936 Then why sell iroegbunam and not garner? Or why not sell both and replace them with £5m players. Why buy George when you could promote youth players. Why spend Ms on Grealish wages. Horribly managed but obviously not asset stripping
@Hayley_Everton@DannyObrie12936 If they were ‘asset stripping’ as you say, they 1) wouldn’t have pulled out of Armstrong deal. 2) would’ve sold garner on deadline day. 3) wouldn’t have even bid for balogun in the first place. How can you asset strip and have a +ve net spend (as we would have if balogun signed)
