Everton Football Club has today released its Annual Report and Accounts for the 2024/25 season
Recording a club record turnover of £196.7m, an increase of £9.8m on the previous year, and a significantly reduced loss of £8.6m for the financial period.
Today in Parliament, during the final King’s Speech debate, I made it clear: the Right to Food is not charity it is a fundamental human right.
In one of the richest countries on earth, no child should go hungry while billionaires grow richer. No pensioner should be forced to skip meals. No family should have to choose between heating and eating.
Food poverty is not inevitable. It is the direct result of political choices, austerity and an economic system that puts profit before people.
That must change.
Our Right to Food Commission report will provide the government with a ready made solution a roadmap to end food insecurity and guarantee dignity for all by investing in our children and the future economy.

We will have over 60 members at tomorrow's game all meeting in @MurphysDist before and after the game at Bramley Moore. For those of you in Dublin Everton V Sunderland shown Live at the official home of Everton in Dublin Slatterys bar Capel Street.
The KMI Panel has confirmed Everton should have been awarded a penalty in the 2-1 defeat at West Ham for handball by Mateus Fernandes.
The panel voted 4 to 1 that it was an error by both the referee and VAR.
Following on from the above inflation busting increase to season tickets the club decide to announce these jolly boys days out.I assume tickets for the away at Spurs will come out of the regular away allocation

Many thanks to @garethfarrelly1 and @lcabbabeh for their Q&A at our latest forum (March 19) when our 1998 goal hero answered questions from the @HowardsWayFilm contributor on his playing days and his career as a sports lawyer.
It was excellent, enthralling and entertaining.
We’re 4 hours into our 22-mile walk to @EvertonStadium 💙
We’re doing this to raise awareness of my son’s ultra-rare, life-threatening condition — AHC.
We’re trying to raise £1.5 million to get him to the US for treatment and, hopefully, a cure when it becomes available.
Today, I’m aiming for £7,000 — £1,000 for each colour of the rainbow 🌈

Earlier today I waited to ask this Question in the House of Commons but was not granted the opportunity.
So with the 37th anniversary of #Hillsborough less than four weeks away, I’ll ask it here instead:
What precisely is the Government’s objection to my amendment to the #HillsboroughLaw?
The very least bereaved families, survivors and campaigners deserve is an answer.

Craig Pawson really shouldn’t be refereeing Everton’s next game or any Everton game, ever again ❌
⚪️ Craig Pawson has a vendetta against Everton FC, even neutral football people like Neil Warnock @warnockofficial have publicly admitted “It's known in the game—Craig Pawson has an agenda against Everton, he’s got something with Everton him!”
🔵 Every time Craig Pawson takes charge of an Everton game he makes a ridiculous decision against Everton that the @FA_PGMOL have to apologise for or he gets demoted to fourth official the following week:
1) On VAR ludicrously advised to send DCL off against Crystal Palace when the referee didn’t even give a foul (this was later overturned after a @FA_PGMOL apology) - Jan 2024 ‼️
2) Refused to give Konate blatant 2nd yellow v Liverpool after sending off Ashley Young for 2 yellows in the first half - Oct 2023 ⚠️
3) Sent Allan off against against Newcastle, even Shearer admitted “That is never a red card” - March 2022 ❌
4) Refused to give a penalty when Dan Burn wiped out DCL from behind as he was about to score. Audio revealed Pawson didn’t listen to VAR and spoke over them convincing VAR that DCL somehow kicked Burn, he didn’t and Pawson was demoted to fourth official for 2 weeks - Oct 2024 🔉
5) Pawson didn’t give 2 clear penalties after Alcaraz and Beto were brought down in the box at Notts Forest. Even Mark Clattenburg called these claims a "big error" post-match, saying they should have been given - April 2025 🥅
———
Take a guess which team Craig Pawson has gave a record of 5 red card to.. yep, it’s Everton. 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴
In comparison, Pawson has never gave a red card to any Liverpool or Man United players, ever. 🤯
——
Everton have won just 5 in 27 with Pawson in charge, a win rate of just 18.5%, Everton’s lowest of any referee. 📉
——
Michael Ball @bally03 (Liverpool Echo, 2024) “Time and time again, Pawson has made seven or eight huge decisions that have gone against Everton... Why does he keep getting our games?" 🗞️
——
Pawson was demoted to UEFA's second-tier list in June 2024 after a "controversial season" e.g Everton incidents and Chelsea goal ⬇️
——
As well as Craig Pawson being a terrible referee, there’s just too many controversial decisions made by him against Everton and the numbers - as well testimonies of neutral football football people - support the view that something isn’t right and Pawson needs to be taken off all Everton games in future @FA_PGMOL
The @Everton CEO has written to Shareholders on behalf of the Board and the letters have started arriving.
The letter highlights the financial commitment of the majority shareholders, and the Board’s intention to pay a dividend as a result of the sale of the Women’s Team.
