🚨 Protocol's Update #5:

Following a successful Mainnet launch, where we achieved a TVL of over $110M across Liquid Staking and the Lending Protocol, our team has returned to the drawing board. We are thrilled to present you with exciting updates about our upcoming milestones: 🔥

▪️ The $HTM Booster
▪️ The $HTM Accumulator
▪️ $USH, #MultiversX 's First Native Stablecoin

Approximately four weeks from now, two novel features related to the $HTM token will be revealed on the Devnet:

✴️ $HTM Booster: Additional incentives in $USDC will be distributed across various money markets within our lending protocol. To take advantage of these incentives, users must stake $HTM tokens.

For users to reap the full $HTM Boosted APYs, they will need to stake $HTM tokens equivalent to 5% of the amount they have supplied in the lending protocol and added as collateral.

To illustrate the $HTM Booster's mechanism, consider these examples: User A has $100K in the lending protocol, with an Additional Rewards APY of 7% and the $HTM Boosted APY being 6%.

To earn the full 13% APY, User A needs to supply $5K worth of $HTM tokens, which is equivalent to 5% of their position.

If User A only stakes $2.5K worth of $HTM tokens, they will earn only half of the $HTM Boosted APY, which equates to 3%. Consequently, their total APY will be 10% (7% Additional Rewards APY + 3% $HTM Boosted APY).

Users can withdraw their staked $HTM tokens at any time, subject to a two-day cooldown period. This feature provides tremendous utility to the $HTM token by leveraging the lending protocol and future protocols, along with the incentivization program, thereby creating sustainable demand for the $HTM token.

Similarly to the launch of the Lending Protocol and Liquid Staking, we will have a countdown prior to the Mainnet release. The $HTM Boosted APYs will be extremely high and will begin to decrease as more people engage and stake $HTM on the $HTM Booster until it reaches an optimal equilibrium.

✴️The $HTM Accumulator: An innovative feature will be introduced to the Rewards pop-up – a button allowing users to choose to claim their rewards either in $USDC or $HTM tokens.

If a user opts to receive their rewards in $HTM tokens, they will earn an extra 2% on the total amount of their accrued rewards. The reward values in $USDC will be converted into $HTM before being distributed to users.

For instance, if you have accumulated $1,000 in rewards within the lending protocol, you will have the option to claim either $1,000 in $USDC or $1,020 in $HTM. This feature will increase the buying pressure on the $HTM token through a delta-neutral strategy while offering more rewards to users.

In addition to the features already mentioned, our team has resumed development work on $USH. We're thrilled to share that the $USH launch will come with a suite of sub-products, designed to facilitate its adoption and growth.

$USH has been developed to tackle the stablecoin liquidity issue within the #MultiversX blockchain. Consider Ethereum, where there's a $67B market cap of stablecoins compared to a $225B market cap for its native token, $ETH. The situation in #MultiversX is markedly different, with a $19.39M stablecoin market cap compared to an approximately $831M market cap for $EGLD.

$USH aims to rectify this liquidity issue, given that it's simpler to mint $USH than to buy stablecoins. It will enable you to mint a stablecoin while keeping your exposure to $EGLD or the asset used as collateral:

✴️ $USH will be minted through the lending protocol. ✴️ $USH will be minted via an isolated pool without any minting fee.
✴️An innovative $USH Staking Protocol that is based on a sustainable incentivization structure, that will increase its utility, thus its adoption.
✴️The introduction of $USH Boosted vaults will enable users to create LPs using $USH and boost their earnings, and create deep liquidity for $USH.
✴️A $USH PSM Module will be introduced at a later stage.

Every module outlined above will undergo a rigorous auditing process before it is launched on the Mainnet. 🔒
