A1 #teacheredglobalchat In 2019, I was lucky enough to co-lead a group of future educators on a program where they explored Belizean culture and interviewed teachers at a local school there. Over the course of a week, they observed and assisted in the classrooms!

A great loss for UK and a worrying trend in internationalization. So many students, faculty, and staff benefited from opportunities for cultural exchange and language learning through our Confucius Institute. I am hopeful those initiatives will continue in other ways.
