Holy electrophilic amine 🤯!!! Excited to have my *first* first-author paper live in ACS Cat today. I can’t wait to see what our lab and others continue to do with N-halamines!
KFB Lab Alert: Our first efforts in biocatalytic chlorination of aliphatic amines is now online @ACSCatalysis! Huge congratulations to @EJGChem, @sp3intermediate, Sophie, @Logan_Zane97, and John!

KFB Lab Alert: Our first report in bioinspired catalysis is here! Check out our latest report on a Newman-Kwart Rearrangement Enabled by Flavin Photoredox Catalysis @ChemRxiv! Congratulations to @CG_Chem and @ManiksharmaASR for leading this effort!

I am very grateful to see this work published in @ACSCatalysis. Leading this project has been an incredible experience, and I am proud of what we achieved together. A massive thank you to everyone involved. I certainly could not have reached this milestone alone!
A classical Friedel-Crafts reaction may not be biocompatible partly because acid catalysts are needed. Our work @JACS_Au showed a boron unit makes it "catalyst-free" for tryptophan bioconjugation! The century-old reaction still has a lot going on!

KFB Lab Alert: Huge congratulations to Courtney Glenn for completing her Second-Year Qualifying Exam and becoming a PhD Candidate! Very proud of you, Courtney!🥳
KFB Lab Alert: Our new chemoenzymatic strategy for isoxazoline synthesis through cryptic nitrile oxide formation is now available @ChemRxiv! Huge congratulations to @ManiksharmaASR for another awesome advance for the team!

Excited to showcase my first first-author paper deposited on chemarxiv this morning! We propose using fundamental physical catalyst properties as features for ML prediction of nickel catalyst performance. Thanks to all those involved in this project. https://t.co/bAnzinTz06
I am incredibly excited to finally share our work on oxidative rearrangement of indoles, which is now available as a preprint on ChemRxiv! This submission marks a major milestone for me: my first, first author paper. Thank you to everyone who made this work possible.
KFB Lab Alert: Our general biocatalytic platform for the oxidative rearrangement of indoles is now online at @ChemRxiv! Congratulations to @HJLChem and @sp3intermediate for leading this work with Sergio, Raina, Ana, Sophie, and John!
