Just couple of days after recovering a record amount of cannabis, this time the @ekh_Police foiled another attempt to bring in illegal drugs into our beautiful state, seizing heroin worth Rs. 1.5 Crore from an interstate trafficker.
These back-to-back successes demonstrates the commitment of the force in keeping the state safe from drugs and creating a #DrugsFreeMeghalaya.

Delighted to share the phenomenal job by the @ribhoipolice! They've unearthed a hidden stash – a whopping 4750kgs of pure grade marijuana, worth a staggering Rs.20 crore from a truck yesterday night! This goes without saying that this huge bust has prevented a tidal wave of harm, protecting countless lives and communities from the destructive grip of drugs. The @RibhoiPolice through its unwavering resolve and tireless efforts have dealt a decisive blow to the forces of darkness targeting our state. One notorious interstate criminal who is entangled in a web of illegal activities that spanned from trafficking of arms and precious wildlife as well as forgery of official documents is arrested. The seizure includes 1052 rounds of AK 47 ammunitions, 2 Grenades, 4 magazines, 34 seals of various departments & 9 antlers/skulls of deer and cash.
