🚨BBC: Asylum seekers "are more likely to commit crime".
We first published our research last year on the link between open borders and crime. The BBC was silent.
They have now been forced by reality - kicking and screaming - to report our findings and admit the link.
They are no longer the Labour Party, they are the Welfare Party. It doesn’t matter who is in charge of these people, the party for Benefits Street will tax us all into poverty to pay for more welfare.
Pat McFadden has said in private what he and the Prime Minister deny in public. As I’ve said repeatedly, Labour MPs don’t understand where money comes from. They think our taxes are their money to spend, rather than the result of the hard work of the people in our country who deserve so much better.
The Conservative party is the only party holding Labour to account, as Reform, Lib Dems the SNP and others join Labour in demanding the state pay more and more benefits.
Incredibly, 90% of the new Labour MPs at the last election came from a trade union, charity or public-sector background. Barely 1/5th of the Cabinet has any private-sector experience. In the Shadow Cabinet, 3/4 of us do. That distinction matters.
The skills Labour MPs have acquired are in lobbying for more funding, campaigning for more benefits or more red tape. Britain needs a new generation of politician.
Only the Conservative Party can build a team for the economic war effort required after Burnham/Starmer have finished this catastrophic experiment. We will need to fix every aspect of our system at once. There will be no kicking decisions into the long grass, only rolling our sleeves up and getting to work.
If you've ever thought about a career in politics but decided it was too risky or you wouldn’t fit in, now is your time.…We are looking for people from every walk of life who know how to get stuff done.
In return, I will make politics work for you.
Britain does not lack talent. It lacks a system that draws that talent into public life. Join my team and help us get Britain working again.
My piece in the @Telegraph below👇
Since we’re discussing insane uses of British state resources I’d like to remind people that the Manchester Arena bomber used his mother’s (fraudulently received) benefit money to buy the bomb parts. She was still getting £2,200 a month from us despite having moved back to Libya.
It’s no wonder people are angry.
18,000 people are waiting for a council home in Southwark ….
Yet SIERRA LEONE’S First Lady has a London council flat, even though she’s living in a presidential palace in Africa!
It’s indefensible, Just evict her !🤡
After 18 months of “standing up to Putin” the Labour govt quietly issued a licence allowing imports of Russian oil refined in third countries.
Yesterday Labour MPs voted AGAINST UK oil and gas licences.
We are now importing from Russia instead of drilling in the North Sea.
Insane.
Over 18,000 people are on Southwark Council's social housing list - while the wife of a foreign head of state gets a subsidised council flat.
Lifetime tenancies tie up social housing for decades - at huge cost to taxpayers and British families who desperately need a home.
@EastMidRailway have you just given up on fixing the WiFi on your old meridian trains? I've not had a functioning signal for weeks. Between this and the lack of seat reservations travelling with you is becoming more of a chore than a pleasure.
Why did you make so few arrests at the Nakba hate march, @metpoliceuk? Shouldn't every single person chanting for Tommy Robinson to be shot dead have been arrested on the spot for incitement to violence?
The tweets around inner London social housing are wild. Any attempt to discuss the manifest unfairness of social housing allocation gets attempts to shut this down with 'you want to forcibly relocate half of London' without any attempt to engage in the problem.
In some London boroughs, 2 in 5 properties are socially rented. Vast swathes of prime, inner london land is occupied by decaying, poorly managed council housing, inhabited by an economically inactive population. My latest for the @Telegraph https://t.co/VZD5gSszE4
Police say today's 'Unite the Kingdom' rally passed 'largely without any signficant incident'. Probably worth noting that at the 2025 Notting Hill carnival, 528 people were arrested, four people were stabbed, and 55 police officers were assaulted.
Explain to me why you should be able to inherit a £3 million tenancy without paying inheritance tax but not a £3 million house your parents actually bought and paid for.
