@sarah051291@BullScone@lifeatthenest@educationgovuk The question is ambiguous. That isn’t helpful in an exam when anxiety is already high for (I imagine) most children. It’s great that your 4 year old neurodivergent child understood it, but that doesn’t mean other children will. The question could have been asked more clearly.
@DSkaith We have it at the allotment. We just keep on pulling it up, trying to get as much root as possible, and it seems to be weakening. Don’t put it in your compost!
Completely agree with this. By censoring the books they’ve taken away an opportunity to engage with our children on prejudices and injustices of the past. You can’t simply pretend they didn’t exist!
been trying to talk about the roald dahl censorship without sounding like a boomer. anyway, i think that this statement from Warner Brothers before their old racist cartoons is pretty good, would rather publishers do something like this than literally change words
Not just women but LGBTIQ+ as well. The voices of the people disproportionately affected by climate change are not being heard. We have to do better #climateemergency#cop27#equality https://t.co/wDXUFymygc
Tory: "...I'm a pensioner so rates of tax don't worry me too much." OJ: "People's mortgages are going up because of all this" Tory: "I don't have a mortgage". 😱
The UK government's ruthless and reckless policies that "go for growth” require us all to ask the essential questions that Donella Meadows - mother of systems thinking - set out decades ago. So join me in answering these questions... 1/n
@DSkaith Great work! Such an important topic and vital that things change. Walked down Coney Street for the first time in a while today and it looks so sad now. Hopefully your message is listened to and acted on.
