Elite80WBB Fall League

Elite 80 Girl's Fall Exposure League is the place to be seen by college coaches at the D2, D3, JUCO & NAIA level while preparing for their HS🏀season

[Elite80WBB Fall League @Elite80WBB]

A huge thank you to all of the sponsors and supporters who helped make the @Elite80WBB Fall League possible this season. 🏀

United Community Bank sponsored the MVP Sophie Cunningham shoes, DICK’S House of Sport provided the championship bags, and WaterGuard sponsored the league jerseys.

Ole Ben Franklin Motors also provided a FREE admission day for parents and spectators, while the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame supported our recruiting panel with CEO Michelle Marciniak and former Lady Vol Alexis Hornbuckle taking time to answer questions and share insight with our players and families.

Every contribution helped make the league experience better for the players, families, and everyone involved.

Thank you for supporting @Elite80WBB. 🧡

A player has an offer from a school they hadn’t considered but is holding out for programs that haven’t shown interest.

When does pursuing a dream become overlooking an opportunity?

Players, parents, coaches: What should families evaluate before deciding to wait?

@ProEdgeWBB

[Blake Derrick | Recruiting & Representation @_BlakeDerrick]

I’ve never had a college coach ask me what a player is ranked.

Yet rankings carry a lot of weight in how players and families view recruiting.

Where do rankings help—and when do they become a distraction from finding the right college fit?

@ProEdgeWBB | @ProEdgeHoops

[Blake Derrick | Recruiting & Representation @_BlakeDerrick]

A team’s ranking or reputation doesn’t define your game.

A respected AAU program can create exposure, but coaches evaluate what YOU bring. Can you defend, make decisions, and impact winning?

Use the platform to prove your value. Let your game speak.

@ProEdgeWBB | @ProEdgeHoops

Your high school scoring average doesn’t guarantee your college role.

Coaches evaluate how your game translates: Can you defend, make good decisions, play without the ball, & adapt?

Keep developing your scoring—& ways to help your team win when you aren’t scoring.

A point guard’s job is to make everyone around them better. Know who needs a touch, where teammates are most effective, and when to score or settle the game down. Your impact goes beyond your numbers—it shows in how well your team plays.

Connections in this game take years to build. Their value comes from trust, honest evaluations, and knowing where a player fits. They can open doors, but they can’t guarantee offers. The player still has to prove they belong at that level.

Hard truth in basketball: your highlight reel shows your best moments. Full games show your habits. What do you do when you don’t get the ball, when you’re tired, or when the game isn’t going your way? Build a game that holds up beyond the highlights.
