Maybe the best story of the 2026 season became officially official yesterday.
Corey Pereira earned his KFT card by finishing 2nd on the Americas Tour points list.
The 31-year-old returned to pro golf this season after an extended break to take care of his wife Leah, who had a rare form of cancer.
Sadly in June of 2025 Leah passed away. And slowly Corey returned to golf, first as an escape, but then found his competetive side return.
This season on Americas he had an amazing year, making 13 of 14 cuts, winning once, along with a runner-up and finishing in the top 25 eleven times.
Although he had his card for KFT locked up for a while the Americas Tour ended their season yesterday, so it became official.
Here is to an amazing 2027 season.
Congratulations to the wonderful women of Team Alabama for winning the 2026 Senior Tri-State Championship at Tupelo Country Club in Tupelo, MS! 👏

If I would have had this mindset at a Pro I would have been more successful.
This one change in perspective can not only help for the next round but will keep you engaged when it isn't going well.
When golf is your job this is critical, but even if it isn't you benefit from shifting your perspective.
Another incredible season is in the books. ✨
To every player who teed it up, competed and made 2026 so special — thank you! See you back out on the course soon! ⛳️

I cannot stress this enough to all of you golfers who are trying to change a movement in your swing...
You MUST practice with some kind of feedback that allows you to look at what you just did
- A mirror
- A window
- Turn your phone to selfie mode
- Record your swing & look back at it
What you FEEL like you are doing at what you are actually doing can be 2 completely different things
Without visual feedback, you might just be repping poor movements. You want to be able to perform the ideal movement (relative to what you are working on), in front of the camera with no ball first
Then proceed to work on it with more speed
I coach golfers every single day who don't do this & I'm constantly educating them on the benefits
🙂
