@EM203ErinErnst Hi Erin, as a fourth year health sciences student at WLU I have taken many courses that emphasize the importance of addressing health misinformation in this increasingly technological world. I appreciate your insight!
This image identifies strategies to tackle misinformation in technology. The use of measures like these can have life saving implications as they can prevent the spread of health misinformation. #EM203 Source: https://t.co/BvzGwDEpB0
Walker Buehler had the worst regular season of his career.
He was starting for the Dodgers in October out of necessity.
He pitched 5 shutout innings in Game 3 of the World Series at Yankee Stadium.
2 days later, he got the final 3 outs to win it all.
I shared this because the speed at which wildfires are growing is alarming and highlights the growing impact of climate change. Understanding this trend is crucial for improving prevention and response strategies. #EM203Robin and #EM203Research
The most dangerous wildfires are the ones that move and spread quickly. In a new Science study, researchers used satellite data to show that the growth rate of wildfires across the contiguous U.S. increased substantially between 2001 and 2020.

@EM203MikaylaK , in my concept map a problem I see is the lack of access and funding their is for mental health services. It is still a service that is overlooked and not deemed as important as others. #EM203problems
Hi @em203sroberts, I see a key problem in your global education map: Many children in low-income countries lack access to quality education. #EM203problems
Hi @EM203MikaylaW, I see a key problem in your mental health concept map: Access to resources is often limited by financial status, impacting individuals' ability to seek help. #EM203problems
@EM203HChen Hi Haley! I am also enjoying EM203 and agree that as students in today's world, the topics we have covered in the course so far are extremely relevant to our lives.
@WLUJaack Hi Jack, this is a great take on the course! I think that your point on being mindful of cognitive overload is super important, especially when working with technology because of the harm it can have on your performance when multi-tasking.
@EM203ErinErnst Hi Erin, I have also found this course super enjoyable right now and am looking forward to the rest of it. I think that your point on how our brain is able to sort through and process information even with increased digital use is very intresting!
@EM203MikaylaK Hi Mikayla, I also used pixton for the first time in this course! I think for only have been in this class for a few weeks I have also learned a lot such as how we learn in the 21st century.
@alysiajaiden Hi Alysia, this is a great reflection on the course so far. I think that being able to push yourself in new situations is a great way to explore new things and learn from them!
@EM203AVaseghi Hi Artin, I agree that it is very interesting understanding how we are slowly adapting to the new age. I think this course is a great example of how we can incorporate technology into our learning!
My thoughts on the first three classes of EM203 are positive. I am enjoying Module 1, especially 'how we learn in the digital age'. Being in school during a time when technology is so prominent makes it intriguing to see how it has shaped our learning strategies. #EM203Robin
