@StitchedUpUK I'd also love to hear your thoughts on thrifting as a more sustainable alternative to buying new clothes! I've heard a few different takes on it, and I personally don't have much skill at sewing or making clothes, so I was wondering if you have any suggestions?
@StitchedUpUK
Hi! I am a Canadian University student doing a study on unethical economic practices, including fast fashion, sweatshops, and child labour. I really appreciate Stitched Up's mission, and was wondering if you have any online events for international participation?
This semester I did my study on Unethical Economic practices. I've attached an infographic that explains more about my topic and its possible solutions!
This semester I'm doing my analysis on unethical economic practices. This article encompasses the issues surrounding fast fashion, its effect on the environment and laborers. #EM203Robin#EM203Research

@EM203JMOK Hello Jungwook, thank you for your concept map about Fossil Fuels, I found it very interesting! I think an additional issue you may be interested in would be the "Adverse health effects of industrial wind turbines" and its effect on animals like birds. #em203problems
@Em203victoria45 Hey Victoria, thanks for your map on Gender inequality in education! A big issue within this topic that I think you might be interested in (and I have also personally experienced) is “Gender disparity in STEM” and women in STEM careers! #em203problems
@EM203JChabot Hey Joel, I agree! I also like how self-directed the course is as well which allows us to think even deeper about how we're learning throughout the course and apply what we've been taught.
@em203bleung Hey Benson, I agree with your views on the course! I'm in Computer Science and I definitely see those connections between multitasking and parallel processing. It's crazy how everything is so interconnected.
@EM203rknezy Hi Rebecca! Glad to see we think the same about the course. Which learning method did your group study? And was it the one most applicable to you? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
@MichaelC_EM203 Hey Michael, I feel the same way! The course is very engaging with all the use of the discussion posts as well. Which learning theory did you find worked the best for you?
@RourkePick Hey Rourke, I totally agree! I also found the other methods of learning that we discussed (connectivism, learning through trial and error, etc) to be very interesting as well! I'm curious to know which method your group studied if you'd like to share!
The first 3 lessons of EM203 have helped me gain more insight into the different methods we can learn digitally (learning by doing, connectivism, etc.) and the different mediums we can use to learn and consume information. It's a nice contrast to my other courses! #EM203Robin
