@RobinPersadWL My topic is on issues within Canada's education system. You are an expert in this area I thought it would be interesting to ask you a question in order to aid with my research assignment. In your opinion, what is the biggest problem in our education system?
Over the past three weeks in EM203, I enjoyed learning about different ways of learning in the 21st century's digital age.
I learned about connectivism and multi-media, multi-modalities, and multi-tasking learning environments. I can't wait to learn more! #EM203Robin
This picture is of a classroom in central Africa. One can clearly see the stark differences between our schools and theirs. In order to provide equal opportunities for all, education systems such as this one needs upgrading!
This is a little reminder that struggling with your mental health doesn't make you a failure & to always remember to communicate how you're feeling to others. #ItsOkayToNotBeOkay#endthestigma#em203robin

"I feel like my dog eats better than I did" some travellers inside Canada's quarantine hotels describe the conditions as inhumane. @CreesonCTV has more: https://t.co/0PYO4RSx9R
@sarthom203 Hi Sarah, you're right learning about the way people learn is very enjoyable and I cant wait to see what the rest of the semester has in store for us!
@nella_beth You are completely right, this course has never been more relevant then it is today since we can only learn digitally due to the pandemic. I cant wait to see more of your posts as we continue the semester.
@BurtonEM203 I think it will be extremely interesting to see how peoples learning styles change after the pandemic. Learning by doing is an extremely effective way of learning but for some tasks, it is just not possible with the current state of the world.
@em203oceansuley Hey Ocean! You are right, learning by doing is one of the most effective ways to learn. It is extremely unfortunate that today it is much harder to learn this way because we are all stuck inside. Hopefully, this can change in the future!
@em203hamzasidd Hey Hamza!
You hit the nail on the head! Learning will never be the same again. Technology has forever changed the way we learn not just in the classroom, but also just in general. Everyone has access to the entire history of the world and more in their pocket.
Over the first three weeks of #EM203Robin I have learned a lot about technology and learning in this digital age. One thing I learned is how effectively learning by doing can be to help us learn!
