With sources from @NatGeo and @CNN climate change articles referring to energy production being the top contributing factor to global warming, it's clear that there has never been more of a need for renewable energy sources than now. #EM203
An island in India has lost more than HALF of its land over the last 20 years due to global warming and rising sea levels. More on the matter can be read here at BBC News.

The differences between the classroom setting from when my parents had attended public education versus from when I had is drastically different! #EM203
@em203lzhang It is hard to believe that the classroom that we learned in is going to look extremely different in years to come! Much more flexibility and collaboration in the classroom will enhance one's learning in the future.
From overhead projectors in grade 1 to entirely online-based courses in university, we have witnessed the impact of new technology on our learning. EM203 has allowed me to examine these impacts, and how they have shaped today's collaborative approach to learning! #EM203Robin
@EM203BGoodfello Agreed! And as well the impact that our advancing technology has isn't just affecting our generation, but also the educators themselves as well. Nowadays, teachers and professors must incorporate multi-module/media learning while also avoiding the drawbacks from multi-tasking.
@EM203KWilker When putting it in that perspective it truly is astonishing how fast technology has not only advanced but also become so essential to today's learning criteria in classes. For example Google Drive and Google Classroom was practically mandatory in my high school. Great post!
@Em203Nicole To expand on incorporating media into our learning, what I've found helpful was by observing how the professors at Laurier incorporate their lessons or lectures through media, and what theories of learning best represent their teaching format.
@em203lzhang Indeed and as technology advances schools and educators further attempt to utilize all aspects of multi-media and multi-module learning. Which very well changes the way we learn, I agree!
@Em203V The multi tasking activity was definitely interesting! Although I'm sure all of us could have guessed the results from memorizing list B would've been noticeably better than list A, it was still interesting to put it to test!
After participating within the first 3 lessons in EM203 I have learned a lot (ironically) about learning! Specifically learning through multi-modal, multi-media, and multi-tasking within this digital age and as well the Cognitivist learning theory! #EM203
