@opheacanada@CIRAOntario @CAAWS @CCGSD_CCDGS@StdntsCmmssn @RTBIntramurals It is great to see this, I loved intramural in elementary school and it is so important for physical literacy! What would you say would be the best way to get all students participating and having fun...divide upper and lower grades or combine all grades together?

The cause of today's Ethiopian Airlines crash was unclear, but a Lion Air flight using the same model of plane went down in Indonesia in October and killed 189 people. The crash in October raised questions about Boeing's 737 Max. https://t.co/Ym59s8Yvrf
Obesity is a growing concern that needs to be more acknowledged by Canadians. Educating the general population on causes, consequences and prevention of obesity should be the first step in combatting this problem! #EM203Research

While it may seem counter-intuitive, physical exercise strengthens your muscles and helps bone density. Daily physical activity has also been linked to helping you #HealBetter, so don’t let an existing injury stop you from keeping fit and having fun. #ThursdayThoughts
@EM203mshac great concept map Maddison! another thing to consider that could fit into your "Impact in Education" category would be the affect that ADHD has on a child's social life as school is often the place where most socializing for kids occurs #EM203Problems
@EM203MTim I looked at the Behaviourist method of learning and how much that traditional method has evolved with the evolution of technology! It will be interesting to see in the next 20-30 years how much more these methods will change with technology advancements!
@em203cherbrown Yes that was a really interesting lesson! Much of the time I find myself looking at my phone mid-assignment when I am working at home and never realized what affect it could have on the quality of my work and studying ability.
I have really enjoyed the first few weeks of this class! It is very interesting to see how much of an impact technology use has had on our generation compared to learning in the past! looking forward to the rest of the term #EM203Robin
@kchen203 I totally agree Ka Yan! Many of my classes I have taken in university have had a practical component that require in-class instruction, so it has been interesting learning about different learning methods I have yet to be exposed to!
Sleep, nutrition, and daily physical activity are ingredients in the path to good mental health in children, teens and adults. Let's make physical activity a part of the conversation. Tweet #BellLetsTalk and Bell will contribute $0.05 to Canadian mental health initiatives.
@EM203KWilker @EM203mshac @EM203DTaylor I really like this thought! Our laptops are such a big part of our lives today but will we look back in 40 years and think how far technology has evolved, kind of like how our (grand) parents do today with type writers, dial-up internet, phone cords, etc.?
@EM203atownsend I totally agree Alex! Sometimes the week gets hectic and I don't spend as much time on some courses as I would like and find myself falling behind. Online learning lets me keep up at my own pace and not feel like I'm behind or lost in the course!
