@EM203BGoodfello I found it interesting to see that multitasking while using technology truly impacts our ability to learn - after doing the experiment of listening to music while attempting to remember a list of words, I realized how simple distractions negatively impact our learning abilities.
@EM203MNovokmet I believe that learning by doing is an effective way for many individuals to learn a new task. It incorporates trial and error and allows students to learn from their experiences. The one thing I really like about this learning theory is that it focuses on real life scenarios!
@EM203AbbyL Hi Abby! I agree completely agree with you. This class has made me realize how much technology can positively enhance our ability to learn, however, at times it can also be extremely distracting, thereby hindering our ability to learn efficiently and effectively.
We are only on our third week and I have already learned so much about how individuals learn, the importance of hands-on/experimental learning, and how multi-tasking impacts our ability to retain information. I am so excited for all the lessons to come!! #EM203Robin
