@ricardo_tranjan Do you have any advice on how the average Canadian can get involved with changing the current housing market system? How do we come together and "organize and build political power?"
A new book on the housing crisis in Canada poses the idea that the housing crisis is simply a result of the housing market working in exactly the way it was designed. To break this paradigm, the tenant class must organize and build political power.

@TheTimMulligan Do you think the housing market’s recovery will be permanent and if so how long do you think until the average Canadian can once again affordably buy a home?
@JohnPasalis Hello John, given your own experience with dealing in the real estate business, do you think you could pinpoint the most significant economic trend that led to the declining housing market? Thank you!
The housing crisis in Canada will not be fixed with one single solution. It will require multiple ideas working in conjunction. This infographic helps highlight 3 of the most promising solutions.
Since 1990, overall inflation in Canada has averaged 2.01% per year, a total increase of 93.15%.
But the avg. home price in Canada has increased by a whopping 1,000% in the same period. 🏠📈
Meanwhile, average earnings of full-time workers have only increased 25% 😭
Crisis.
This article helps showcase the unliveable conditions young adult Canadians are going through everyday. It's impossible to justify the outrageous housing price increases when compared to the average salary.

#EM203Robin This class is nothing like I have experienced. Lessons in EM203 are done in an interactive and fun way that makes me want to come back every week and see what the new lesson is! This class is a lot of fun!
@EM203JWolfe Hey, I enjoyed learning about learning theories as well. I found out my learning theory is learning by doing! Some of my favourite classes I've ever had were science classes where we did labs almost every week.
@EM203RKesner I've never had a class like this before too. I have trouble keeping up to date with online classes because of the lack of urgency. The interactive lessons help alleviate this worry a lot.
@Em203WHo I agree, the digital age has transformed everyday life in such a big way. It will be interesting to see how different school will be in just another 10 years.
@EM203BZhao I tried solving a Sudoku puzzle too! It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, it only took a few attempts to get the hang of it. I'm looking forward to more tasks coming up.
This course has been incredible so far. I believe one of the greatest benefits of taking this course is learning new problem solving skills and techniques that apply to all aspects of our lives beyond the scope of twitter. #EM203Robin
