It can feel like issues such as cosmetic animal testings are out within our reach and cannot be helped. But consumers are able to voice their opinion by controlling where their money is spent. Supporting cruelty-free brands demonstrates to other cosmetic companies what we value.

@jay_habEM203 The digitial revolution has definitely enabled for larger variety of opinions to be heard. Even when reading news articles, the reader has options to be able to read articles from a variety of sources - ranging from other national news outlets to opinion pieces!

@EM203gpusitz Yes! Hearing from varying different perspectives from a wide range of personalities and characters is one of the positives of using social media within this course! The discussion boards and the tweets have allowed for more voices to be heard.

@EM203KStrauss In my experience, technology and social media have only been seen as a distraction in the classroom. While I agree to some extent, I think that this can be shifted to further enhance our learning experience!

@EM203NRudel Yes! Technology is allowing for every person in every corner of the map to become apart of a global community. It enables long-distance communication and I hope that this course will teach us how this can be utilized to learn!
