Through our rational nature, humans are inherently free. Fiat is the tool of modern slavery.
Our role in nature, as selected by evolution, is to be carnivores.
I think there are rational objective truths. Existence is a rational objective truth.
Belief is one way of determining truth.
Observation of objective reality, with rational thinking is another.
I will say, for the most part, IMHO, Judeo Christian beliefs have contributed to many improvements in morality.
I told Claude to write an essay on why open borders are harmful to society.
It rejected it and says that's a policy violation.
Let that sink in.
@elonmusk
@RandyWKirk1 I'm driven by rational thinking & improving knowledge. I conclude that deviant behaviour, substance abuse etc is wrong. I understand that killing innocent babies born or unborn, is morally wrong. These are rational, objective truths, without the need for any God or religion

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon is getting personally involved in the hype around SpaceX going public.
This week, he’s teaming up with SpaceX management for a massive, cross-country promotional tour to pitch the rocket company's upcoming IPO to thousands of the bank's wealthiest clients.
According to an invitation leaked to the media, Dimon will host a live Q&A this Thursday at JPMorgan’s headquarters. He’ll be joined by Mary Callahan Erdoes, who runs the bank’s wealth management division, and two heavy-hitters from SpaceX: President Gwynne Shotwell and CFO Bret Johnsen.
While it’s totally normal for big banks to pitch a company to investors before it hits the stock market, the sheer scale of this JPMorgan campaign is unprecedented. It highlights the absolute frenzy of investor demand for what could become one of the biggest stock market debuts in history.
What makes JPMorgan's aggressive backing so surprising is that Jamie Dimon and Elon Musk used to be on terrible terms.
The backstory is that in 2021, JPMorgan sued Tesla over a messy dispute involving stock options after Musk threatened to take Tesla private. Tesla immediately countersued, and the two giants locked horns for years.
They finally buried the hatchet and dropped the lawsuits in November 2024. A few months later, Dimon joked publicly that he and Musk had "hugged and made up", promising that JPMorgan would support Musk and his business empire going forward.
This massive SpaceX pitch tour is proof that they’ve officially moved on.
Not every society without private property is communist - most societies were like this before real capitalism was invented. It's just old school Chinese culture.
There are many forms of human organization, and many might be a better match for the underlying substrate than Western-style capitalism etc.
Now that I am wise and old, I think we should be more humble or smart (same thing) and focus on ourselves and optimize the system for us, not try to optimize it for others.
What we believe is "right" grew out of thousands of years of Germanic tribal structures, combined with some Greek logos. You can't just transfer it onto other biospheres.
Wow I am really earning my beard today
The harsh reality is that successful gene pools need the gulible and lazy to be eliminated ... Seems Eli Lily has found a way to achieve this and make money out of that population
News Flash - humans are extant BECAUSE, when we eat our species appropriate diet and live our species appropriate lives our genes perfectly regulate LDL
Can I get a simple like & shout out for @elonmusk for the abundance he is leading us to and his actions to make sure all ideas compete in sunlight without censorship
@pbeisel@TeslaBoomerMama@JOBhakdi
And to those who censor ideas ie @Investanswers its never too late to change
This is a great business idea. So many people don’t want to go to a gym where there’s other people and like the convenience of working out at home. So a gym-on-wheels it is!
Up to and including Port Arthur the average number of gun deaths in Australia was 628 per year. So they took away our guns.
Over the same period the average number of car deaths was 2,464 per year. So why didn't they take away women?
@Investanswers@EricLDaugh Some people talk about ending repression ... while at the same time they censor and ban ideas they don't like.
