The Model Y L is almost sold out for 2026 in the U.S., with estimated delivery dates now showing December across the country.
Deliveries begin in September.
Grok Build is quickly turning into an all-in-one creation environment
It can now also generate images and videos with Grok Imagine directly inside your workflow
You can create custom visuals for websites, apps, presentations, marketing campaigns, product pages, social media and pretty much anything else you're building
No more jumping between different AI tools just to create the assets you need......even Claude Code doesn't natively have this
Build the website, generate the images, create the videos, and then ship it - all from Grok Build
All year long we heard “we’ll get to the SAVE America Act when we have time,” realizing it would likely take a few weeks.
We waited patiently while fully funding DHS and addressing other priorities, expecting to return to it when time allowed.
It’s now August, and we’ve already taken more recess weeks this year than I can count.
There are 21 weeks remaining in 2026, and approximately 14 of them will be spent with the Senate in recess.
Why?
These few weeks in August offer what could be the perfect chance to return to the SAVE America Act and debate the bill until it passes.
We should be doing precisely that.
Frankly, we should have done it months ago.
That’s why I objected to recess and voted against it.
Unfortunately, I and those who joined me in opposing it were far outnumbered—with all Democrats and most Republicans preferring to take yet another lengthy recess, this time until September 14th.
Lost opportunity.
Found out Democrat leadership has instructed their members NOT to sign onto our bill that would cap student loan interest at 2%… because it would make “Republicans” look good ahead of the midterms. So much for caring about people and education.
Congrats @DavidMoss on being the first Tesla owner to cross 25,000 miles on the FSD streak counter! That's equivalent to one full lap around Earth, or two years of driving for the average American. Pretty wild.
The confetti celebration also came back after it last appeared for him at the 5,000 mile streak milestone haha.
(video sent to me by David and posted with his permission since he wasn't going to post it)
Christmas Eve 2008. Tesla closed a funding round in the final hour, days from bankruptcy.
Elon Musk put in all his money & assets, borrowed from friends just to pay rent. If it missed, payroll would have bounced two days after Christmas.
Sometimes you need a human standing next to Starship just to remind your brain how absurdly massive this thing actually is
A flying skyscraper made of stainless steel, designed to land itself and carry humans to another planet
Absolutely insane that this is real
ELON MUSK: “In order to ascend the Kardashev scale, in order to get to any meaningful percentage of the sun's energy harness, you have to go to space. If you want to get to, say, a millionth of the power output of the sun, you would have to increase civilizational energy harness by much more than a millionth.
We currently use much less than a trillionth of the power output of the sun. And a trillion is a million times a million. So basically, we're basically practically nowhere on the Kardashev 2 scale.”
In the spirit of transparency, here’s what I asked @OpenAI:
• Radical transparency: let’s release the traces from the “rogue” agents so the entire research community can study what happened.
• More capabilities for defenders: let’s commit $100M in compute from OAI to help the Hugging Face community build powerful cyber defenses with the best open and closed models.
The first autonomous agent cyberattack is an unprecedented event. It deserves an unprecedented response!
