@emmaflaxSLT Could try some grounding techniques from mindfulness (notice the feel of your feet on the ground/in your shoes, the way the chair supports your body) and/or cog tasks.. how many [category] can you think of? or recall all aspects of a known story? Whatever suits their interest.
