This instantly puts them at a disadvantage, and adds unnecessary risk to an already dangerous sport

They want to tell a story, Ortola has a strong chance of moving to Moto2 next year.

The two British Moto3 riders aren’t as likely to achieve that at this time which is why it makes much more sense to sponsor Ortola

Lots of people complaining that Lando Norris has sponsored Ortola and not a British rider.

The whole project is about content creation, using a multi Grand Prix winner makes much more sense than using a rider for their passport, irrespective of results
