I created a list of Emergency Medicine Pharmacists on Twitter a few years back: https://t.co/YYQr9Krwnj @ASHP_EMPharm @accpemedprn
There are now over 400 (and certainly more)! An amazing group of EM pharmacotherapy experts and excellent clinicians. Let me know who's missing.
Had the pleasure of meeting Chris when I was a 4th year Pharm student and again as a PGY1. He is a great leader and advocate for EM pharmacy. If you are a student/resident interested in pursuing EM or actively practicing as an EM pharmacist, definitely give him a follow!
ER Pharm twitter - how to stay up to date, network, share ideas, and help more patients all over rather than remain in a silo. Growth and collaboration are key. New thoughts and ideas can stem from the conversations of many great minds.

This thread is from a previous article in AJHP describing the PhC model here in NM. (1/5)
The role of ED pharmacists is *extremely* important and often underestimated, especially in places where EM is not completely established
Can’t really think of high-quality ED care without ED pharmacists

@iEMPharmD Is this home grown or something that could be built into any system with EPIC? Would love to send this to our EPIC team for efficient PCC input. Also would make it easy to pull in the data for smart texts/phrases
It turns out that having pharmacy students/interns perform pre-admission medication histories may reduce burnout for the other clinicians involved in a patient's care. Not a revelation, but it's the first time it's been looked at.
