@clhubes We ate what my parents made bc “this isn’t a restaurant,” but my mom also had the philosophy to “give it two tastes” to new foods. We may not have liked it the 1st time, but the 2nd time usually wasn’t too bad. I think that is why my sisters and I are adventurous eaters today

@clhubes I had no idea house centipedes existed until I kicked one barefoot, in the dark, shortly after I bought my house. 😱Yes, they keep the spiders in check, know one will be in your shower or tub if you are gone for a few days, and like celebrity deaths, they seem to show up in 3s.

I love when you get to that point where you know your baby so well, that if they’re fighting sleep, you know they are going to flail and scream as loud as they can for exactly 2 min and then immediately pass out like someone flipped a switch. #motherhood

@clhubes Omg I was literally telling my husband this yesterday. I’ll take the newborn or toddler stage any day of the week. The neediness of a 5mo old infant is EXHAUSTING (coming from me, currently in the trenches with a teething 5mo old on the verge of crawling). #solidarity

@clhubes Our 1st is a freak of nature when it came to sleeping. At 20mo, he sleeps in a big boy bed for 12 hours and we leave him awake to drift off. We are shook that our 4mo old still wakes at least once or twice at night.

We are aware that even the 4mo old is a pretty good sleeper

@clhubes @abby_e_o When my husband is at work and I have to do solo bedtimes, I literally put my toddler in his room with a movie while I get the 3mo old to bed. Sometimes it’s only 20min…sometimes (tonight) it’s the entire movie. It’s the only way it’s quiet enough. #Solidarity
