@RuthWobbles The reason why they look blue is because of light refracting off the structure of the wings themselves! The way the light hits the feather structures makes the wings look blue, when their pigment itself is actually black!

Pom Pom crab (Lybia tessellata)

The ‘pom poms’ are stinging sea anemones which the crabs use to catch food and elude predation, the tentacles are covered in stinging cells called cnidocytes

In return for this protection, the crabs feed the sea anemones
