@ASFleischman Honestly the fact that they did this in such a high profile case makes me worry they do stuff like this more regularly than we realize in federal court where grand jury transcripts are rarely discoverable
@spenser222@benchslappedtv While true as matter of trial tactics, if you are a prosecutor with an ethical duty to do justice and you find yourself left with a case that depends entirely an on obviously unreliable witness, maybe we take a second to think about dismissing the case.

@JohnnyFSE These stats are virtually meaningless. You donโt include the total number of people released by the judge (which will dwarf these numbers โ vast majority of people do not violate or FTA), in MANY cases no one is requesting that the judge order detention, and many more issuesโฆ
@mattyglesias Iโm fine with him retiring because honestly of course he is going to and also because it will be legitimately difficult (and arguably impossible) for trump to find someone worse.
@StrangerNews11 I thought it was a strong ending held back by an otherwise fairly weak season (and overall downward trend since season 1). I think some of the #conformitygate clues were deliberate and intended to make the audience doubt the ending. But no idea how that implied a secret episode.
@jake_theviking I think there were some deliberate clues in the finale intended to make you doubt whether the โhappy endingโ was real. But never understood why that meant there would be a secret episode. It forces the audience to make the same choice to โbelieveโ that the characters do.
