what’s kind of annoying about this is that they’re going out of their way to remove the credits, but not the due diligence in reattributing them to the “right category” if it really was about putting credits in the correct category.

IMDB is not just a resource for public audience information, it’s also a professional service to show casting directors/studios what you’ve worked on. Deleting credits without reattributing them to the “correct” category is damaging especially to actors who don’t have a name yet.
