Q&A with Brayden Moffitt
Blessed to be saved, 6ft 3in, 295lbs, Defensive Tackle, Indian Creek High School, IN, Class of 2027, GPA 3.0,

What’s a moment from last season that stands out to you?
Winning sectionals. It has been a long time since we have achieved that goal and it was amazing being a part of it.

How would you describe your style of play?
Physical, relentless, and aggressive. I take pride in being tough at the point of attack, stopping the run, and doing whatever I can to help my team win. I try to make a play every snap.

What was the highlight of the 2025 season?
Winning our conference championship and being named D-Line of the Year were definitely highlights, but the biggest thing was competing alongside my teammates and accomplishing goals together as a team.

Other than your own, which stadium do you enjoy playing in the most?
Lapel, it was a very good game but the atmosphere was awesome.

Which road stadium is the toughest to play in? I can’t pinpoint one that hard to play in but Tri West and Lapel where both an experience.

Best advice you’ve received about playing your position? Who gave it to you?
“The best advice I’ve received is that effort doesn’t take talent. My dad has always told me that I can control my effort, attitude, and toughness every play.”

What would it mean to play in the North vs. South All-Star Game?
It would be a huge honor. Indiana has a lot of talented football players, so being selected would mean that all the hard work, sacrifices, and support from my family, coaches, and teammates paid off.

What’s the best part of being a student-athlete at your school?
The relationships. The coaches, teachers, teammates, and community all support each other, and it feels like a family.

Favorite part of practice?
Competition. Whether it’s team periods, inside run, or one-on-one drills, I enjoy competing and getting better every day.

Has the transfer portal made recruiting tougher for high school players?
I think it has in many ways because colleges can fill needs quickly with experienced players, but there will always be opportunities for high school athletes who work hard, develop, and prove themselves.

Favorite sports movie or show?
Remember the Titans is probably my favorite sports movie. The message about teamwork, leadership, and overcoming adversity is something that sticks with me.

If you could sit down with any athlete for an hour, who would it be?
Aaron Donald. As a defensive lineman, I’d love to learn about his mindset, work ethic, preparation, and what helped him become one of the best defensive players
