I’ve lived through the Savings & Loan crisis, the Dot-Com bust, the Great Recession, and COVID-19. In every case, the people that succumbed to defeatism got what they they envisioned, BUT so did the people who focused intently through it.
Which person are you?
The thing that fixes this country is more capitalism, not less.
Our problems today are the result of a culture that has lost its appetite for risk. America is more afraid to lose wealth than excited to create it.
We can cling to past glories, or we can invest in the future.
It astounds me how easily we take relative peace and prosperity for granted, turning a blind eye to the very cruelty that stokes discontent. Every harm we cause, every harm we allow, all echo back to us one day. Resist those who preach power over service.
ChatGPTs egregious use of the em dash is making a thing I love too cumbersome to use. After adding my disdain of the em dash to memory and starting most chats with a reminder, I STILL have to ask it to rewrite every response to remove them for a final copy. Please help @OpenAI
@stevesi The question for me is, how do you effectively systematize exceptions into the rote. For startups especially everything feels like a white gloved anomaly.
It is small men, incapable of broader vision, who seek dominance of others through competition and war. Throughout history, we flourish on the path of open exchange of ideas, knowledge, and trade. Not through the wars, but through the peace.

Help send us to the convention. This is a great opportunity to obtain sponsorships and gain connections. We are trying to get another $2,500.00 to get us there, a VIP ticket, a room, maybe a after party ticket and maybe some ramen noodles packets for dinner lol always trying to save money where we can. If so, anyone who donates over $100 I will personal shoutout on live stream from the convention!!!🫵🫵

The removal of support for older @googlenest thermostats is unconscionable. Smart device maker arrogance never ends. Don’t sell something if you can’t support it for as long as the devices last it connects to. You can afford to learn from your mistakes.

None of us can carry the weight of our community, our country, our species. All we can do is the right thing, carry the right mindset, and let the chips fall where they may.
One thing 12 years of #ecosystembuilding has taught me is, some people would rather poison the community well than acknowledge accountability for their own actions.

🚀 Big News for Entrepreneurs! 🚀
The #StartupAct was reintroduced today by Congressmen @RepRickAllen (GA-12) and @RepDeSaulnier (CA-10)—a huge step toward ensuring entrepreneurs receive the same support under America’s #WorkforceDevelopment system as job seekers do.
We’re grateful for their continued leadership in recognizing that entrepreneurs don’t just find jobs—they create them.
What is the Startup Act?
The Startup Act proposes key amendments to the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) to:
✅ Integrate entrepreneurial skills training into workforce development programs
✅ Authorize a three-year, multi-state study by the Department of Labor (DOL) to measure the impact of these programs and report findings to Congress
Last session, the Startup Act was included in the bipartisan Stronger Workforce for America Act, which passed the House after being advanced by the House Education and Workforce Committee.
