A new paper from @WilsonLab2 @TimmKoller @MartinoMorici reports structures of the O-glycosylated antimicrobial peptide Drosocin in complex with the bacterial ribosome, revealing how Drosocin inhibits the termination phase of protein synthesis. Open access: https://t.co/O6mKxVyB4b
@pdhsu Precise Integration of Inducible Transcriptional Elements (PRIITE) enables absolute control of gene expression. For more information check out R.Pinto et al., NAR, 2017!
Excited to announce that my lab is moving this fall to @BerkeleyBioE. We develop new biotechnologies (and not just CRISPR-Cas!) to control brain and immune cell function for improving human health. Hiring at all levels (postdocs, grad students, RAs) - https://t.co/MFhG34kwWm
After overwhelming interest and thanks to great talks by: Samantha Maragh, Roberto Nitsch, Marcello Maresca, Jason Potter, Casey Jowdy, Kevin Holden, and others, this years 6th annual Precision CRISPR mini-symposium, became a great success. Heads up for our next event, next year!
Thanks to all students for a successful end of the 4th bi-annual 2 week Ph.D Course “Gene Targeting and Editing”. Students gained hands-on experience with anti-sense, CRISPR/Cas9 in bacteria, CRISPR/Cas9, ZFN and TALEN in mammalian cells and learn how to perform T7EI and IDAA.
The full program for the forthcoming “Precision CRISPR: Applications, Standardization and Reproducibility of Genome Editing, mini-symposium is now available. Interest has been overwhelming and we look forward to an exciting event with presentations from…https://t.co/Nc4IVTMwbH
Pleased to welcome You All to our yearly CRISPR mini-symposium entitled: “Precision CRISPR: Applications, Standardization and Reproducibility of Genome Editing”, Mini-symposium, August 30th, 2019!
