I hope you have prepared and equipped yourself to bag this Dangote Refinery IPO.
Months ago I made a post teaching you how to prepare, the apps you could use, how to register and position yourself. I will drop that post in the comments so you can refer back to it.
Here is what you need to know right now.
The SEC has officially approved the Dangote Petroleum Refinery IPO. The offer opens on September 14, 2026 on the Nigerian Exchange. The price per share is 525 naira. 4.1 billion shares are being offered to the public and this could be Africa's largest ever IPO raising approximately 2.15 trillion naira.
One of the most exciting parts is the dividend structure. You buy shares in naira but your dividends will be paid in US dollars funded by the refinery's foreign exchange earnings. That means your returns are protected from naira devaluation.
There is no minimum set yet but please prepare to buy at least 10, 50, 100 shares or more depending on what you can afford.
At 525 naira per share, 100 shares would cost you just 52,500 naira. That is very accessible.
Do not miss this. It looks very promising and there is absolutely no harm in trying.
Above all, love God.
HOW TO MAKE YOUR ANDROID PHONE FASTER WITHOUT BUYING A NEW ONE
Before you spend money on a new phone, try these first. Most Android slowdowns are software problems, not hardware ones.
- Restart your phone: Most people never restart their phone for weeks. A simple reboot clears stuck processes and frees RAM instantly. Do it at least once a week.
- Free up your storage: Go to Settings, then Storage, and check how full it is. Keep at least 15 to 20 percent free at all times. A full storage is one of the biggest reasons Android phones slow down. Delete old photos, videos, downloads, and apps you no longer use.
- Clear app cache: Go to Settings, then Apps, select any heavy app like WhatsApp, Instagram, Chrome, or YouTube, tap Storage, and select Clear Cache. Do this for your top five heaviest apps. It frees up space and speeds up those apps immediately.
- Reduce your animations: Go to Settings, then About Phone, and tap Build Number seven times to unlock Developer Options. Go back to Settings, find Developer Options, and set Window Animation Scale, Transition Animation Scale, and Animator Duration Scale all to 0.5x. Your phone will feel dramatically faster immediately. Everything opens quicker.
- Turn off background apps: Go to Settings, then Battery, then Background Usage Limits, and restrict apps you do not need running when you are not using them. WhatsApp, Instagram, and TikTok are the biggest offenders.
- Update your phone: Go to Settings, then Software Update, and install any pending updates. Android 17 specifically introduced app memory limits that stop individual apps from hogging too much RAM, which Google confirmed improves overall speed and battery life.
- Delete apps you do not use: Go to Settings, then Apps, and remove everything you have not opened in the last 30 days. Unused apps run in the background silently and consume resources you are not even aware of.
- Do not install RAM booster or cleaner apps. They do more harm than good. The steps above are everything you need.
Above all, love God.
If you take good photos but they never look professional enough because of poor editing, worry no more.
