@dan_thom@MrTs_NQTs I did a uni-led PGCE/ schools direct which meant more time in school. I felt that there was enough intervention from uni but more time in school helped me to transition into ECT well. Would definitely recommend as you also get time in primary schools, sixth form colleges etc
@MflCe Lots of extension tasks with focuses on things like grammar. From experience, if they have a parent that speaks the language, theyโve learnt it verbally and often struggle actually using the grammar in written form, etc
@MissJPGCE @MrTs_NQTs I stayed at my placement school for my ECT and it has been fantastic. Granted my department and my mentor are both hugely supportive. Iโd say it very much depends how you feel about the school after your training year with them โบ๏ธ
