Trust in dust (data).
A new USGS data release from Southwest Biological Science Center provides a decade of detailed meteorological observations collected through a network of CLIM-MET stations near Canyonlands National Park. These stations monitor the physical and chemical interactions between the atmosphere and the ground, measuring how wind, sunlight, and moisture move dust across the landscape. Understanding dust movement is important for managing public infrastructure and safety.
