Fellow Obidients and proud Nigerians, it’s time to rise and see the truth behind the smokescreen! The viral video of Mr. Kenneth Okonko accusing Mr. Peter Obi of betrayal over the Labour Party crisis is a blatant display of political naivety, or worse, a deliberate mischief to puppet Obi for the selfish agendas of others. I implore you to listen closely, for I bring you undeniable evidence from my own encounter with this so-called adviser!

Last year, I met Mr. Okonko for the first time in his Abuja office, alongside @YunusaTanko and Dr mo: check the picture I’ve shared as irrefutable proof! During that meeting, he echoed the same flawed arguments we now see in that video. I listened with an open heart and responded with conviction: no one is perfect, not even Mr. Peter Obi, as he humbly acknowledges. Our sacred duty, I urged him, is to stand by him, guide him with our wisdom, for God has divinely assembled us to help him lead Nigeria to a glorious future. I pressed him passionately, “Mr. Kenneth, isn’t your mission to uplift Mr. Obi and our nation? Why this bitter frustration?” His response chilled me, he boasted of knowing Obi well and claimed that if the three of us lasted a year with him, he’d “come back.” Can’t you see it? This was a clear signal of a man plotting to abandon ship, perhaps to Atiku, Amaechi, or back to APC to prop up Tinubu!

I pleaded with him then: leave quietly, spare us the false accusations. People only heed you, Kenneth, because you rode on Mr. Obi’s coattails as his spokesperson, not because you’re a political genius! I’m ready to bare this entire conversation on any media platform that grants me the stage, because I am deeply, personally wounded by his actions. For him to pose as the ultimate adviser to a former governor and SEC chairman with over 40 years of stellar leadership is an insult to our intelligence and Obi’s legacy!

I stand with Mr. Obi daily, and I stake my very soul on this truth: he towers above every aspirant out there. He embodies decency, keeps every promise, plays by the rules with unwavering integrity, and consults widely. A rare gem, I’ve never witnessed in any other politician. While schemers like Kenneth and his entitled puppeteers try to derail him, Mr. Obi’s mission to purify this corrupt system burns brighter than ever. Kenneth can chase his Atiku or Tinubu dreams, but he will never, ever tarnish Mr. Obi’s unblemished name!

To you, my fellow Obidients, I beseech you; stand stronger than ever! This is a desperate distraction, and we will not be swayed. Mr. Peter Obi’s radiant character, his humility, his wisdom, his resolute spirit is our beacon. Nothing, I repeat, nothing will shake our unshakable support for him! Join me, let’s rally behind our leader and prove that his vision for a better Nigeria will prevail!
