When developing curriculum for our MLs, finding images that reflect our learners & families @pgcps is a challenge. @PGCPSESOL launched a service learning program where HS digital arts students draw for our elem MLs/ELLs. 9 students drew 50+ culturally responsive images this year.

@ESOLSpecialist @emilyfranESL My favorite book is The Alchemist by Paolo Coelho. Set in Tarifa Spain & explores different cultures and religions. It talks about believing in and pursuing your dreams. The struggles that we face prepare us with the skills that we need to press forward towards our aspirations
