What the Artemis II astronauts did over the last 10 days was a testament to their bravery. And the fact that they traveled farther from Earth than anyone ever has, re-entered our atmosphere at more than 24,000 mph, and splashed down safely was a testament to human ingenuity. Thanks to everyone at @NASA for making this mission possible, and for taking us along for the ride.
Ahead of Veterans Day, I was honored to welcome a flight of veterans and their families as they arrived in DC.
To all those who bravely served our country, thank you to you and your family for your extraordinary service. The sacrifices that all of you have made to protect our country will be honored, today and every day.
@arscrypta @Dialectiks Where is his father mentioned in the manifesto? I am betting his parents were divorced and ma’am got nothing since grandpa made sure to shield the family wealth from spouses. 😞
@Dialectiks (2) The wealth, both his and his father, is probably parked in trust funds and not easily touched by a divorce. The kiddo’s trust world not make wealth available to him until age xx save and except for paying for his education.
@Dialectiks (1) I saw not one post to inquire where was his father during the years he grew up in the house with his ailing mother… why didn’t she have money for medical treatments? Because if the parents were divorced, mama didn’t get a dime, as the wealth was in trusts, for sure.
@SanaSaeed@JPHilllllll If you’re unhappy with the status quo, stop using your iPhone… stop having mammograms, stop taking meds… these are the things you’re talking about when you advocate for divestment. You’re just showing your ignorance. 🤨
@dominucco@mattyglesias It comes a time when this country sorely needs some inertia. I agree. Those Harvard peeps need some classes on balancing life, accepting and working within today’s reality, and begin working on their negotiating skills. A good place to start would be to checkout #dartmouthdialogs
