Hard-Hit % is (37.8%) currently 29/30. Harder contact is generally rewarded w/ “better luck”.

BABIP w/ RISP will rise (has already), but they’ll always have some baked in bad luck due to lower HH%.

@FranmilsEyebrow And to add to this, they have the lowest K% in MLB with RISP, and the 8th best BB%, so the ability to put the ball in play or keep it moving to the next batter is there. Just need the hits to fall in.

Sources: Penn State star quarterback Drew Allar has informed the school’s coaching staff of his intention to return to school for his senior year in 2025. Allar is 21-5 as a Penn State starter and would loom as one of the faces of college football in 2025.

It does appear the list is loosely just the sum of pitching/batting fWAR, with the rankings then weighted by “implied Elo”. Not sure how much subjectivity is in play here. If there is any, then putting CLE 22nd is pretty wild.

To touch on roster, the one thing that continues to befall Franklin is an inability to add difference makers at WR.

@JL_Baseball Just to add to this; there have been clock management, 4th down decisions and 2PT conversion decisions that have loomed large in these matchups. Today had none of those. Just feels like a game that was about as close to decided by the players on the field as you’ll see.

@JL_Baseball I guess I just don’t get that narrative when PSU made mistakes as well. Their best chance sure, but they still were not favored, at home. They gave Kotelnicki a lot of money to get the ball in the endzone and their offense came up short, twice. OSU defense was simply better.
