It’s always a joy to showcase our work, and this week, we were especially pleased to have our Co-CEO Jeff at #Expo2025Osaka, guiding visitors through the @UKPavilion2025 alongside ES GLOBAL Japan’s Managing Director Tomoko, and Senior Manager, Kaoru.

Tomoko also had the honour of meeting the former Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, alongside the UK’s Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, Lisa Nandy MP. A real highlight for our team, and a great reminder of the cultural connections and collaboration Expo is all about.

It’s been three years of @ABBAVoyage at Pudding Mill Lane! 🎶

Time flies when you’re dancing. We’re proud to have built the arena for this groundbreaking show, a custom-designed, demountable venue that’s delighting fans year after year.

Massive thanks to everyone who helped make it happen. It’s been a joy to see the ABBA Arena become part of London’s live entertainment landscape. 💃🕺

The Canada Pavilion at Expo 2025 stands out not only for its innovative use of the Global Modular System (GMS), enabling the structure to be repurposed for future projects, but also for its leadership in diversity. It boasts the highest ratio of female core team members across our Expo pavilions, with a strong presence of Japanese women from ES GLOBAL leading its delivery. This unique combination of sustainability and inclusive leadership highlights the pavilion's progressive approach to both environmental and social responsibility.

Expo 2025 Osaka is officially open! 🎉

After 11 months of construction on Yumeshima, Osaka, the doors are open for 184 days of innovation, culture, and global collaboration.

We’re incredibly proud to see our builds of four pavilions – UK, USA, Canada, and Australia – open and ready to welcome the world. Each one tells its own unique story, and it’s been an unforgettable journey bringing them to life alongside some truly fantastic teams.

It's ready to welcome the world. The @USA_Pavilion_ at #Expo2025Osaka exemplifies excellence in innovation and architecture. Built and delivered by ES GLOBAL, the pavilion showcases a robust and efficient approach to design and construction, using a bespoke steel system, modular timber façade and repurposed ES GLOBAL equipment to maximise cost efficiency.

With just one month until #Expo2025Osaka opens its doors, we’re in the final stretch of delivering four pavilions for their global showcase. After months of construction, it’s been incredible to see the structures taking shape.

Sustainability sits at the heart of what we do. By applying circular economy principles and smart, sustainable solutions, we’re ensuring these pavilions create a memorable experience, without leaving a lasting impact on the planet.

With six months of innovation, culture, and collaboration ahead, we can’t wait to see Expo visitors experience it all.

On 6th March, we hosted an International Women’s Day panel featuring Abigail Matthews (Momentum Structural Engineers), Alicia Tkacz (@StufishStudio), and ES GLOBAL’s own Tomoko Maekawa and Amy Casterton, moderated by our HR Director, Charlotte Mullen.

This inspiring discussion brought together senior women from across our industry to share their experiences, challenges, and hopes for the future.

Here are some key insights from the conversation:

🔹 Breaking Barriers – Panellists reflected on the challenges of establishing authority in a male-dominated industry. From being mistaken for assistants to overcoming unconscious bias, they highlighted the need for awareness and advocacy.

🔹 Progress & Change – While the industry has become more inclusive, barriers remain—especially in career progression and leadership roles. Panellists noted that parental leave policies and workplace flexibility have improved, but there’s still work to be done.

🔹 Confidence & Representation – The importance of mentorship, coaching, and creating spaces where women feel heard was a recurring theme. "You shouldn’t have to behave like a man to succeed," one speaker noted, emphasising the need for workplaces to evolve.

🔹 Why Diversity Matters – Beyond fairness, diversity is simply good business. Companies that fail to represent society risk alienating talent and partners. As one panellist put it, "We want to see ourselves represented."

🔹 Looking Forward – The panel concluded with a commitment to fostering change. From challenging biases to amplifying diverse voices, the path forward is about action as much as conversation. As part of our commitment to supporting women worldwide, we also made a donation to Women for Women International, helping to empower women in conflict-affected communities.

With just under two months to go until Expo 2025 Osaka, we're celebrating the build completion of the Australia Pavilion! 🇦🇺✨

Built with sustainability in mind, the pavilion incorporates repurposed ES GLOBAL stock from our work on the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, championing the circular economy and reducing waste, from its foundations to its final structure.

A huge well done to everyone involved, we can't wait for the grand opening on 13th April!
