French journalist Paul Amar:
“They came prepared. They had the addresses of town halls. They had addresses of Jewish shop owners.
In a street in Marseille, all businesses owned by Jews were set on fire. Businesses run by Muslims weren’t”
BREAKING:
Rioters have broken into the synagogue on Burnouf Street in Paris and vandalized it.
Why would young students allegedly protesting against the poor state of France’s educational system attack a synagogue. Could there be more to these protests that the mainstream media is avoiding to tell people about? https://t.co/P97wnjJx49
It is disingenuous for @DevineSean to claim victimhood of 'an organized push from outside to unseat him', while Jeff Leiper's shadow party is doing precisely that for him
During an election, people will challenge your position/ record. That's the point

A very interesting thing happened in Gaza today that was totally overlooked by the media.
According to merchants in Gaza, Hamas charges $3,000 for every truck that enters the strip. In addition, it requires merchants to sell approximately 30% of their goods in cash, which enables the organization to gain control over the proceeds. At 600 trucks per day, this translates to at least $1.8M per day. What can I say? Every don in Sicilia would be jealous.
Now, a merchant refused to pay this protection money and in response Hamas kidnapped his son. Following this incident, other merchants have announced they will suspend all coordination of goods entering the Gaza Strip through the private sector, effective immediately.
I have no doubt Hamas and its allies in the West are going to use this to accuse Israel of starving Gaza again, so keep your eyes open.
The UN accused Israel of genocide, and one of the 3 commissioners behind that accusation just admitted, in front of a live audience, that they never independently verified one of the most explosive statistics in their own report.
Chris Sidoti insisted that his commission conducts independent investigations and doesn't simply rely on media reports.
Except paragraph 21 of their official genocide report claims that 83% of those killed in Gaza were civilians. The footnote cites The Guardian.
When asked whether the commission had actually verified that figure, Sidoti admitted:
“No, we didn't… we literally do not know.”
Now watch how this works.
The Guardian publishes a statistic. The UN cites The Guardian. TIME and other media orgs then repeat the statistic while reporting on the UN's genocide findings, giving readers the impression that they're looking at an independently established fact.
The media quotes the UN, the UN quotes the media, and somewhere along the way a newspaper's claim gets transformed into an authoritative finding of international investigators.
This is how information gets laundered. Each new citation adds another layer of credibility without necessarily adding a single piece of independent evidence.
But the commissioner himself admits they never verified the number.
We're talking about an official UN report accusing the Jewish state of the gravest crime in international law, circulated around the world as authoritative evidence, while one of its own authors acknowledges that they literally do not know whether a central statistic they published is accurate.
How many other claims in that report have been through the same process?
🇮🇹 100 Jewish early childhood educators canceled their trip to a professional conference in Italy after they were told to sign a statement condemning Israel.
🇨🇭 An Israeli film was excluded from a queer film festival in Switzerland after the filmmaker was subject to questioning about his beliefs about Israel.
🇬🇧 A British comedian was kicked out of a writing group after being questioned on his beliefs about Israel.
🇮🇪 An Irish hotel cancelled the reservations of 70 people who were attending a conference on combatting antisemitism.
These are just from the past week. Caring about Palestinians is not an excuse to be silent when antisemitism is being normalized across the world.
BREAKING: 🇮🇪 Dublin’s Herbert Park Hotel reportedly cancelled a 70-room reservation when they learned it was for attendees of a conference about combatting antisemitism.
Hotel management allegedly asked the conference leaders if their event was related to the IDF.
Ireland is home to only 2,200 Jews, yet there were 143 antisemitic incidents there last year.
Maybe the hotel was trying to justify rising hate against Jews by blaming our connection to Israel.
Instead, they just proved why the conference was so needed.
This is Amit Soussana. Hamas terrorists brutally beat her, tied her up and dragged her away from her home into Gaza.
For 55 days, she lived through hell.
She was chained by her ankle in a darkened children's bedroom for weeks, forced to ask permission just to use the bathroom.
Her captor repeatedly groped her and questioned her about her menstrual cycle.
Then he pointed a gun at her forehead and sexually violated her at gunpoint.
She was moved between hiding places, beaten and terrorized.
After her release, Amit became the first Israeli hostage to publicly describe in detail the sexual abuse she suffered in Hamas captivity.
Where was the UN? Where was the Red Cross?
Where was the outrage when Israeli women were being sexually assaulted?
Amit survived 55 days of Hamas captivity and made sure the world heard what they did to her.

Hola, soy palestino. 🇵🇸
1947. La ONU me ofreció un estado. Junto a Israel. Fronteras, independencia, reconocimiento.
Me dio autonomía.
¿Democracia? No he tenido elecciones en casi 20 años.
UPDATE: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, now in the 21st year of a four-year presidential term, has just confirmed that he will not honour his commitment to the Canadian government on Palestinian statehood.
As reported by the @TorontoStar, Hamas called the postponement “a step in the right direction.” The decision comes amid reports of an “alliance between Hamas, Islamic Jihad and a bloc led by former Fatah security chief Mohammed Dahlan.”
The Canadian government must now hold the Palestinian Authority accountable for failing to meet its commitment to hold “general elections in 2026 in which Hamas can play no part.”

🛑The Red Cross now admits more Israeli hostages might have been saved.
THREE YEARS AFTER OCTOBER 7.
For more than two years, Israeli hostages endured Hamas captivity. They were starved, tortured and denied basic medical care. The Red Cross never gained access to visit them.
Now, Red Cross President Mirjana Spoljaric acknowledges that earlier pressure might have saved more lives.
Where was that pressure when hostages were dying? Where was the urgency when families were desperately pleading for help?
Hamas bears responsibility for these atrocities. But the Red Cross must answer for its own failures.
The hostages needed action, not explanations years later.
Too late for those who never came home alive. Too late for the families who buried them.

A queer film festival in Switzerland has decided not to screen Tell Me Everything, a story about a young boy discovering his father is queer and the evolution of their relationship.
Why? Because it is Israeli.
I'm sure a group of Free Palestine activists will see this and insist that no, it has nothing to do with identity, but with the filmmakers' support for Israel's war with Gaza.
Except the festival demanded that Moshe Rosenthal "declare his stance towards the current Israeli government." He did. He said that he does not support the government, he does not finance the government's policies, and he does not make films that promote the policies of the Israeli government.
That wasn't enough.
When Free Palestine tells you they are fine with "good" Jews, know they are lying. They were always going to boycott a queer story showcasing Israeli Jews.
Here are professors from @mcgillu and @Concordia that decided to use the 3rd anniversary of the largest mass murder of Jews since the Holocaust to publicly celebrate on the streets of Montreal.
Never forget their faces.
127 days ago, with hoopla, Mark Carney ordered his Ministerial Advisory Council to make Canada’s antisemitism crisis its first priority, coordinate a federal response, improve data, and measure what works. It's been 99 days since its first meeting. Public statements since? Zero.

75% of all people in the world have never met a Jew in their life.
Nearly one in five people on earth believe Jews make up more than 10% of the global population. The real number is 0.2%.
So why are you telling us who we are and what we should be? You haven't met us. You've met a headline. And you built a whole worldview on it.
Today is Wednesday, September 30, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Today we honour Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the lasting impact of residential schools on Indigenous families and communities.

The University of Toronto is at it again.
Choosing October 7th as a date for "honouring our martyrs" isn't random. It's purposefully provocative.
A careful read of the accompanying text makes no mention of the 1,200 men, women, and children slaughtered by Hamas terrorists that day.
Last year, after ensuring that the event would be 'inclusive', administration allowed it to proceed on campus. The University even complimented the group at Governing Council for being orderly and respectful.
What will the University's response be this year?

INFRASTRUCTURE 1a:
Flooding and weather resilience
Back to Basics. Existing Homes First.
We cannot control the weather. But we can be better prepared for it.
Canada Day 2026 brought record rainfall, flooded streets and basements, road closures, electrical hazards, and widespread power outages. Knoxdale-Merivale was one of the three hardest-hit wards.
The City already knows many of the weak points: undersized pipes, blocked culverts, drainage bottlenecks, and neighbourhoods that have flooded repeatedly.
As your councillor, I will focus on fixing known problems before creating new plans that sit on a shelf.
My priorities for Ward 9:
🔹 Fix known flooding hotspots first
Prioritize infrastructure upgrades in Craig Henry, Tanglewood, Parkwood Hills, Fisher Heights, Borden Farm, and the Graham Creek corridor in Trend-Arlington.
Address storm sewer bottlenecks, culverts, catch basins, and drainage issues already identified by the City.
🔹 Create a public Ward 9 infrastructure accountability plan
Publish a ranked and costed list of flood mitigation projects.
Provide annual updates showing what has been funded, started, and completed.
🔹 Prepare before the next storm
Pre-position pumps, generators, barriers, and emergency equipment in vulnerable areas.
Focus maintenance efforts on problem locations before severe weather arrives.
🔹 Support homeowners
Improve access to backwater valve, sump pump, and flood protection programs.
Publish clear flood-risk information so residents can make informed decisions.
🔹 Make infrastructure capacity part of growth decisions
Ensure drainage infrastructure can handle existing and future demand before major new development proceeds.
🔹 Improve local emergency preparedness
Strengthen neighbourhood-level alerts and response plans.
Coordinate proactive action before flooding starts, not after.
The Order of the Work
Fix known problem areas and prepare for the next storm.
Publish a public, ranked infrastructure action plan.
Deliver priority upgrades and annual progress reporting.
Expand homeowner flood protection support.
Improve local warning systems and emergency response.
Ensure infrastructure keeps pace with growth.
Less politics. More results.
