Honoured to welcome the Logistics and Telecommunications Cluster Plenary Meeting to @ITU for the first time — convening partners committed to strengthening emergency telecommunications for disaster preparedness and response worldwide.
As climate-related disasters and humanitarian crises intensify, resilient and coordinated emergency telecommunications are more vital than ever — especially for #LDCs, #LLDCs, and #SIDS.
Strong coordination is key to strengthening country preparedness, regulatory readiness, and fast deployment capacities even before disasters strike.
Together with the @ETCluster and partners across the humanitarian ecosystem, @ITUDevelopment remains committed to delivering technology-enabled, people-centered, and partnership-driven solutions that save lives.
