Today we started our first hackathon! 5 days , 14 people coding together at @CBGP_Madrid + a few other online.
Our main goal is to boost the release of the new ete4 version, which will include a new visualization system able to explore huge trees! #ETE4 funded by @cziscience
We are starting our third #ETE4 hackathon day. Yesterday was very productive, with ppl making progress in the visualization of large gene phylogenies with taxonomic info, biogeographic data, HyPhy bindings, phylogenetic profiling, tree handling, and much more.
