War is ALREADY taking place in other parts of Ethiopia.
How about giving a damn about Amhara, Afar, other peoples who have suffered for YEARS without the world paying proper attention?
The war was inevitable. Did you really expect Tigray and Amhara to remain permanently marginalized in Ethiopia’s politics? Did you think they would simply accept whatever Abiy gives them? The political realignment in the north was coming whether you liked it or not.
If Fano + OLA + TPLF is suddenly the answer, explain how groups that spent years killing each other became the moral authority overnight. How is Fano now teaming up with the same forces it used to call the killers of Amhara farmers and the reason for the struggle?
Those people never had a plan from the beginning. They didn't know what the end goal of the struggle was. They wanted money and power from day one. Losers.

‘Persons displaced over 4 years ago due to identity-based conflict in various zones of Wollega in Oromia Region and taking refuge near an area called “May Gulit” near Sekota city of Wag Hemra Zone in Amhara Region are facing shortages in food, medicines and shelter.’ @OCHA_Ethiopia@MSF@planethiopia@WFP_Ethiopia
⚡️ℹ️#UPDATE - Today I successfully defended my PhD dissertation at @UofTIMS@UofT 🇨🇦. This would not have been possible without the support of so many amazing people. I am grateful to all those who stood with me and I say, our work isn't over, it's just beginning!
It is unfortunate how some refuse to speak up about the Abiy regime’s genocidal war on Amhara people. Refusing to address ethnic targeting is not a sign of being “progressive” it is a sign of moral decay, ignorance and cowardice. Such misguided thinking is part of the problem.
