The Tooro Kingdom has noted with concern the false and misleading reports circulating about the health of His Majesty the Omukama.

We wish to reassure all our people that His Majesty is in good health. He is currently in the United States undertaking official engagements and furthering his studies.

The Kingdom remains committed to keeping our people informed through timely, accurate and official communication on matters of public interest. We encourage everyone to rely only on information released through the Kingdom’s official channels.

We also call upon all the people of Tooro and friends of the Kingdom to reject malicious rumours and defamatory misinformation. False information causes unnecessary anxiety, undermines public trust and does not serve the interests of our people.

Let us work together to promote truth, unity and responsible communication as we continue building the Tooro we all desire.
