This is Conor MacGregor, UFC champion. In 2018, he raped a woman so violently that she required surgical intervention to remove a tampon that had been forced deep inside her body by the assault.
In spite of this medically established fact, and the severe, deep bruising on the victim’s throat, face, and genitals, Irish prosecutors declined to bring charges.
MacGregor was nevertheless found civilly liable for the rape in November of 2024.
He is still competing.
A country’s vitality is deeply tied to the value it affords to human life in every form and condition, acknowledging the dignity endowed upon every human person by virtue of their very existence. The moral greatness of a nation is manifested, above all, in its capacity to support, protect and cherish the lives of all, especially the most vulnerable and those whose worth is questioned.
@Sal_Robins2 I'm a widow. Have been for 15 years. I miss him terribly. But I've got used to my independence, my new identity and living by myself. So no. Plus I'd lose his pension.
@SaraLBennett60@helenstaniland Good for you but I still demand that a female who is an actual female and not a male does my smear tests. And I reserve the right to my single sex spaces.
The human heart is not filled by accumulating experiences, possibilities, or temporary guarantees; it is filled when it discovers a call, when it understands that life reaches fullness only if it is given. Following Christ does not impoverish existence, but expands it. #ApostolicJourney
@_oatc_@TransChicken2@daniellismore That's great. Instead of looking at genitals we can do neuronal tests for men that want to access female spaces because it's a fool proof method yes?
