Essential 🧵. Auxiliary to prefiguration, I implore we engage in:
preCONfiguration = deliberate design of viable systems. Autonomous and self-regulating, adapting to evolving needs + terrain. Circumventing overarching ctrls or sanctions. Prefigurative values would be hard coded.
Anarchists (Libertarian Socialists) are perceived as a threat and attacked by all sides of the political spectrum (if you will) because what all other sides have in common (Left or Right) is an acceptance of top-down hierarchy and coercive authority (even if some try to hide it).
Defending Wii'i Gdwiisa: 'Stop T.H.E.M.' and the Fight Against Uranium
In May, an autonomous group of organizers called for people to gather in northern Arizona at the foot of Wii'i Gdwiisa, or Red Butte. There, they shared insight and knowledge about the revitalized uranium industry in the region and why they're demanding it be stopped.

They knew exactly who Mona Khalil was.
They knew the bright orange house in Mansouri, south Lebanon. They knew it was not a military site, not a command center, not a battlefield position. It was one of the most recognizable symbols of environmental conservation on Lebanon's southern coast; a sanctuary dedicated to protecting endangered sea turtles and preserving life.
Mona spent her years defending the most vulnerable creatures of the Mediterranean, teaching generations that every life matters, that nature is not a casualty to be discarded, and that humanity has a duty to protect what cannot protect itself.
Yet the same orange house that stood as a beacon of conservation became a target for terrorist Israel.
This was an assault on a woman whose life's work was devoted to safeguarding life itself. A woman known internationally for her environmental activism, whose name had become synonymous with the protection of Lebanon's coastline and its endangered sea turtles.
The murder of Mona Khalil sends a chilling message: even those whose only weapon is compassion, whose only mission is preservation, are not spared.
Right-libertarians make me sick, parodies of anti-state ideology that bootlick authority while thinking they're somehow freedom-loving because they don't want to pay taxes or have an age of consent. They sell out to the state and become its biggest defenders every time.
As terrible as veal is, it’s important to keep in mind that all commercial meat is made from juvenile animals overfed to make slaughter weight as young as biologically possible.
No animal in the meat industry is living anything remotely close to a full life.
The only reason it took so long for this is because everyone kept treating it as the "you-cannot-have-kids-disease", instead of acknowledging that the condition was wrecking havoc in the entire body, and infertility was just a symptom
To celebrate Juneteenth here is The Black Anarchist LinkTree that myself and @prxjectsyko worked on together. Also shoutout to @AnarchistLib for posting Black Anarchist Text today as well: https://t.co/sXYJZWC8Ml
If Cuba is understood not as socialist but as a bourgeois national-development project with a party-state managing a mixed economy, these reforms are far less surprising. They reflect a longer trend toward market liberalization rather than some sudden ideological rupture.
This is the inevitable outcome of "state socialism." The state cannot be a tool for proletarian control. It is a body which alienates the people from control over the civil functions of society and will always ally with the forces of capital on a long enough timeline.
After going to the Lifehouses conference at @woodbinenyc, I have realized our movement is a lot stronger than it seems. There are powerful dual power projects all over the nation that no one has heard of. What we need now is coordination and cross-pollination.
the diapers were paid for. walmart called the cops on a pack of diapers that were paid for. a mother lost her precious baby. kohen wiley lost his entire life over a pack of paid diapers. acab. defund the police. fund necessities for children. create an actual safety team that is trained in deescalation , can provide resources for necessities and for mental health. these cops need to be charged for murder when they murder.
