Josh Simons, one of Trevor Chinn’s hatchet men from Labour Together – embraces Andy Burnham after giving up his seat for him.
Do we imagine that this key Zionist operative gave Burnham a shot at being PM out of the goodness of his heart?
Or do we think there will be a price?
Are Simons (and his boss, Trevor Chinn, the effective leader of the U.K. Zionist movement), now the new handlers of the next Prime Minister?
Just another reminder that Andy Burnham voted for the Iraq war - an illegal war that cost over a million lives.
He has refused to describe the systematic slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza as genocide.
So what will change? Nothing.
Arms sales to apartheid Israel will continue.
Palestine Action will remain banned, and more pensioners will be locked up.
Welfare will be cut to fund more weapons.
Immigration detention will expand, and mass deportations will continue.
Andy Burnham is not the second coming. He's the establishment's last roll of the dice.
We've already seen racist pogroms on our streets. That danger has not gone away.
So we must organise, build solidarity, and create power from below. Fascism isn't at the door. It's already here.
Only socialism can face down this barbarism.
Reform, Restore et al have been inciting hatred and this is the consequence.
And where are the speeches from ministers saying how laws need to be changed, marches need to be stopped and phrases need to be banned.
I've said it before and I'll say it again but everytime and I mean EVERYTIME I meet @ZackPolanski he is the nicest man I've met.
I was at the @TheGreenParty summer conference- he has no ego, looks out for everyone around him and genuinely cares for people.
Israel continues to act with impunity, detaining Palestinian footballers and innocent civilians, as well as illegally kidnapping British citizens. When will this government stand up to Israel?
@GreenJennyJones
This is an affront to British justice & democracy. This is what Starmer, Lammy & Cooper have created in Britain: a system that represents Netanyahu & Elbit Systems rather than the interests of the British people, the vast majority of whom want to stop arms sales to Israel. The right to protest is dead, the right to an open & honest trial is dead. The right to be on the side of peace & human decency rather than genocide, is dead
The enormity of the Filton 4 outcome is hard to overstate.
3 of the 4 were found guilty of criminal damage, and that alone. No terror-related charges were involved. But they have, for the first time, been *sentenced* as terrorists.
I suspect this will become more & more common.
Turns out Hannah Spencer's blouse definitely isn't Gucci and didn't cost £2,000
Farage, on the other hand, definitely received 5 million and didn't declare it
The 1960s apartheid govt of South Africa labelled the ANC as terrorists and used a compliant judiciary to suppress their activists and supporters. Today's British govt uses the same tactics against Palestine Action and its supporters.
Here's a photo of Judge Quartus de Wet who sentenced Nelson Mandela to life in prison, alongside Judge Jeremy Johnson who yesterday sentenced four Palestine Action activists as terrorists, even though they were never charged with terrorism, because such a charge would've been thrown out by every jury in the land.
Johnson would have fitted in very well in South Africa's apartheid regime.
Sentenced and imprisoned on grounds of “terrorism” that no jury ever convicted them of.
Meanwhile, the British government continues to aid and abet the greatest crime of our time.
A historic miscarriage of justice — and a truly dark day for civil liberties in this country.
A Miscarriage Of Justice sentencing Palestine Action Activists as terrorists. They Are Not. British Jews serving in IDF are the terrorists but no prosecution against them. Never forgive what Labour Party has done.
We must fight the evil power Israel & Zionists hold in Britain.
Gut wrenching to see four young people jailed for direct action against an arms supplier to Israel.
Years in prison for protesting to save lives in Gaza, with 'terrorism' used despite no jury convicting them of it.
A truly dangerous attack on the right to protest.
