Why a core strength area? Play, risk taking, collaboration, confidence …giving children the opportunity to develop their core muscles in a fun way has multiple benefits - one of which is better posture during writing ( when they are ready).
What an amazing space created phenomenal feat achieved by @coolcanvas from the initial sparks of an amazing teams ambitions for their learners @parkacademybost to the bringing to life by a company that has worked with teachers every step of the way 👏 #LovePlayLoveLearning
@AsdaBoston were in @carlton_road today. As I listened in I heard children talking about the change the chocolate will go through (UW), recounting in the past tense what they had just done, turn taking, sharing and listening carefully to an adult. Real life opportunities 😀
What a fantastic morning with @carlton_road Academy helping the children to make chocolate Easter nest cakes with the ingredients we provided.
@VoyageEP
One experience but lots of learning opportunities. Vocabulary development, fine motor, maths, self regulation, health and self care, oral hygiene, changes of matter (science leads one to remember), I could go on. #ExperiencesMatter#LiveItDoItRememberIt oh did I mention fun?
Before and during ….children @carlton_road accessing provision with real objects. Taking care and practicing skills ready to make their own pancakes in the kitchen later. #LovingLearning
War is a difficult subject for anyone to comprehend - let alone children. Books are a brilliant way to put yourself in someone else's shoes & allow children to ask questions, explore & give meaning. See a collection of books for a range of primary age to explore @_Reading_Rocks_
Inviting and engaging environments to give children opportunities to show what they have learnt. We can sometimes put so much emphasis on what a child says rather than noticing what they do. Getting a balance allows all children to shine.
