This growth is just astronomical, I’m at a loss for words.
450,000 followers now, and 40,000 subscribers.
Only 7K more subscribers and I become the #1 on the entire X platform?
Thank you everyone.
I think this growth is just testimony to how people see free and actually compelling research democratization.
Compared to old models where any alpha gets sold to institutions for tens of thousands… then retail only find out hundreds of percent later.
Or where “influencers” have expensive paywalls to sell snake oil.
Hope to set a long lasting example by publishing research / ideas / thought processes for free.
And encouraging positive sum growth by focusing on substance.
This is a highly difficult situation/problem thats going to need a lot more than switching out the whole government with a new one. The problem is Jante and its widespread in the Norwegian population. The people who go abroad/ share the same views as Oskar are part of the vast minority. Maybe when the economic/welfare state goes a lot down and I mean a lot.
Then perhaps the population will realise that money doesn’t grow on trees and they cant just spend money that they don’t produce.
After all of this, Then yes perhaps we will as a country start to incentivise people like Sebastian instead of taxing them as the government are doing.
@beefcakez@OWesterlin Its quite the difference between those two countries, Norway comes out last of those two… by a long shot. I suppose his main reason might be family or something personal. A lot of people chose to relocate to Sweden based on family alone.
@saintlolzz@OWesterlin spot on. Norway is probably gonna face some rough times in the coming decade. But hopefully we can flip the economy within our lifetime 👌
I just realised I’m making a whole zoo out of my portfolio. I’m obviously a turtle so the zookeeper is an animal as well. I have $WOLF already in my portfolio. And today I just added another animal stock. This is getting ridiculous.
Just an article about how I try to optimize my aggregate decision making using a disciplined approach, using my own portfolio as an example. How I manage my emotions around the act of selling by circling back to my mission WHY for each position. 👇✍️
As a fund manager, instead of hiring a bunch of analysts, be on X and Substack. Get better analyses for much cheaper and less capital commitment.
And honestly, I’m sure they do this already.
99% of the people I graduated with I’d never hire in a million years. They have “optimised their CV” but most of them have no interest in pursuing the subject in depth outside of school.
The talents are on here by their own choice because they love their subject.
Why $WOLF became one of my 3 long term positions. A margin recovery story. This turned out to be a long deep dive so you might need to set aside a day. Writing this took longer than I expected but it emphasizes why $WOLF made it into a concentrated long term portfolio. 👇✍️
Well this article turned out to have timing value. That’s never my goal cause most things related to timing you can’t predict. Today’s event certainly couldn’t have been predicted.
$SIVE was the position I trimmed by 10% today at 37.4 SEK. Just to practice some discipline really, and to build my lower risk compounding positions. Never a bad idea to secure cash.
I’m making sure I grow my base positions in this market climate. That’s my number 1 goal.
$POET getting hit hard too as $MRVL cancels their Celestial orders. That’s where $SIVE has been dragged into this.
Not good. Not detrimental. Might need some time to recover unless it drowns in other positive news soon.
