I appreciate your style advice but I think the questions you’re posing have been studied for decades.

There are a number of intl examples of domestic industries being built on high tariff regimes. There are zero examples of low skill immigration being good for domestic low skill workers. Unless you can point to research that shows tariffs disproportionately impact low income people, it’s just your opinion. Here’s the evidence for my claim using Canada as an example.
