@LydiaHislop Sounds counterintuitive, but getting beaten could be the best thing to happen to CH. Protecting an unbeaten record definitely resulted in more cautious campaigning for Altior as time wore on, & no great jumps champion ever relied on it. Leave that for the Frankel’s of this world.
@rosscojmill@JamesFGun@Hosswatcher@chrishughes_22 It’s NJH’s prerogative whether he runs. The curiosity is that this time last year he said if the International was in Jan, he’d go there. The BHA have moved the race and NJH said in all his stable tours he’d go there, so what has now changed? Would like to see a journo ask that.
@CWilliamsRacing@TracksideJay But that shouldn’t mean he can’t try when the gap is legitimately there. Danny did nothing wrong - supreme arrogance from Patrick to suggest anything different.
@jane_mangan Would I be right in saying that in the UK this no longer applies since they changed big handicaps from Grade 3s/Listed to ‘Premier Handicaps’?
@JoePorter1990 Hardy - Dessie Hughes

Accordion Etoile - Paul Nolan

The RPs Magnificent Seven front page left out Al Eile that day.
The talented Ahorsewithnoname, who finished second in last year's Mares' Novices' Hurdle, bounces back to form following a couple of below-par runs to win the Catesby Estates Mares' Novices' Hurdle at @CheltenhamRaces 👏

Well done to Kevin for being on the front foot with this. Thought he put across a very balanced and well articulated argument. The question we never hear an answer to though is what these groups suggest should happen to all the thoroughbreds if racing were stopped 🤨
Unfortunately, I didn’t hear back from Sky News. HOWEVER, I was contacted by @PiersUncensored and will partake in a debate with one of the founders of the group planning to protest at Aintree on Saturday. Approx 8:25pm on @TalkTV. 🍿 @StandUp4Racing
@kevinblake2011@KayBurley @StandUp4Racing Kevin can you please make the first point to correct the reckless statement that ‘horses die every year in that race’, as this is factually incorrect, ill-informed and massively damaging when coming from someone with a large following such as @KayBurley
@theironhorse00 Totally agree. Chuck a few more into that - Champ Kiely, Gaelic Warrior, Brandy Love, any of the first 6 from Flame Bearer’s race yesterday…
Cannot understand the sudden clamour for flat racing the moment Cheltenham is over. There’s still so much great jumps to look forward to - Aintree & Punchestown above all. Flat can wait until the Guineas. Getting excited about the Lincoln is like bigging up a 0-145 at Chepstow 💩
